Down Shift Racing

DSR was started by Shio and MagnumStar in 2023, with inspiration from Flanders.

DSR was set into motion with the hopes of meeting new drivers to learn and hone our

race craft over time.

Through the seasons we have raced about every combo imaginable, from pp limit, one make, group only, vgt only, specific hp and weight, time limited races to our power to weight coming up in the next season.

DSR has 2 main race days, Sunday our original day and Wednesday our test days for mini series.

Sundays evolved into 13 week seasons, 4 seasons a year.

Seasons follow a script

Wednesdays do not have a script and evolve from all of our inputs.

currently we are running a karts to chaos race that works our way up from

karts to the redbull standard

Additionally we have a shorter race that runs twice a week

one after each of our weekly races

This race is currently a gr.3 bop race with a surprise track at lobby open.

We have had 13 active racers but maintain closer to 8

DSR is very open to racing with other groups and encourage reaching out

to other leagues.

DSR has had amazing races with PRT, Stallion, SHR, along with discords like simbros,

flatout racing and world racing community.

DSRs races mainly consist of road cars with added gr. races. This can put some new racers

off if they enjoy mostly gr. races, although we think racing with as many of the available cars

make us all more versatile racers.

If DSR had one main goal it would be to have enough racers to fill a lobby and more.

I would encourage everyone to join a group or a league and just give it a shot.
