GROUP S CERTIFIED HOST LICENSE AGREEMENT

Applies to all approved Teams, Leagues, and Event Hosts operating under the Group S Racing™ ecosystem.

1. Purpose of License

Group S Racing™ grants approved teams and leagues a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to:

  • Host events under the Group S brand

  • Operate Sponsored Series within approved Titles

  • Utilize Group S infrastructure for standings, reward eligibility, and payout programs

This license does not create employment, partnership, joint venture, or agency status.

Hosts operate independently.

2. License Eligibility
2.1 Age Requirements
  • Hosts must be 18 years or older.

  • If under 18, a parent/guardian must act as the official “Host of Record” and legal payee.

  • No minor may independently control sponsor-facing or payout-related operations.

2.2 Host of Record

Each team must designate one adult representative (“Host of Record”) responsible for:

  • Official communication with Group S

  • Payment information

  • Compliance documentation

  • Sponsor-related coordination

  • Data submission and reporting

The Host of Record assumes responsibility for team compliance.

3. Scope of Hosting License

This license permits:

  • Organizing sim racing events under approved Titles

  • Promoting events within Group S guidelines

  • Submitting verified participation data for reward consideration

This license does NOT permit:

  • Independent use of sponsor branding outside approved events

  • Representing direct sponsorship relationships

  • Altering official Title structures

  • Modifying payout structures

All brand usage must align with Group S standards.

4. Independent Operation

Hosts acknowledge:

  • They independently manage race logistics and rules

  • Group S does not control gameplay or officiating

  • Group S relies on host-submitted data for standings and payouts

Hosts assume responsibility for:

  • Accurate reporting

  • Fair competition

  • Compliance with game publisher terms

5. Event Integrity & Standards

Hosts must:

  • Start events as scheduled

  • Maintain professional conduct

  • Enforce rules fairly

  • Record accurate results

  • Report misconduct

  • Submit participation data promptly

Streams or broadcasts (if used) must remain appropriate and sponsor-safe.

Group S reserves the right to audit participation data.

6. Title & Sponsor Brand Protection

Hosts acknowledge:

  • Titles are owned or licensed through Group S

  • Sponsor relationships are managed exclusively by Group S

Hosts may NOT:

  • Contact Title sponsors directly for negotiations

  • Request direct compensation outside Group S

  • Offer custom sponsor arrangements

  • Create unauthorized branded events

All sponsor-related matters must flow through Group S.

7. Hosting Compensation
7.1 Conditional Nature

Hosting stipends are:

  • Performance-based

  • Conditional on verified participation

  • Dependent on completed series

  • Subject to sponsor involvement

Payout amounts may change at any time.

Group S retains sole discretion over payout approval.

7.2 No Guaranteed Income

Hosting does not guarantee payment.

Incomplete, abandoned, or non-compliant series may forfeit payout eligibility.

7.3 Payment Method

Approved methods may include:

  • PayPal

  • Wise

  • Other approved systems

Hosts are responsible for accurate payment details.

7.4 Taxes

Group S does not withhold taxes.

Hosts are responsible for:

  • Reporting income

  • Compliance with tax laws

  • Providing required documentation

U.S. Hosts may receive Form 1099-NEC if earnings exceed $600.

8. Data & Reporting Obligations

Hosts must:

  • Submit accurate driver lists

  • Provide correct Discord/gaming usernames

  • Verify series completion

  • Cooperate in audit requests

Fraudulent reporting may result in:

  • Immediate license revocation

  • Forfeiture of payouts

  • Permanent removal

9. Non-Circumvention

Hosts agree not to bypass Group S for:

  • Sponsor deals

  • Direct brand negotiations

  • Side agreements involving Titles

  • Marketing partnerships derived from Group S introductions

Violation may result in permanent revocation of hosting privileges.

10. Revocation of License

Group S may suspend or revoke this license at any time for:

  • Policy violations

  • Fraud

  • Sponsor misconduct

  • Brand misuse

  • Failure to meet hosting standards

Revocation may include:

  • Removal of Title access

  • Forfeiture of pending payouts

  • Permanent disqualification

11. Intellectual Property

All Group S trademarks, logos, Title systems, payout frameworks, and infrastructure remain the exclusive property of Group S Racing™.

This agreement grants limited use only for approved events.

12. Platform Independence

Group S does not control:

  • Third-party racing platforms

  • Game servers

  • Independent league infrastructure

Hosts assume responsibility for compliance with game publisher terms.

13. Modifications

Group S may update this agreement at any time.

Continued hosting constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

14. Acceptance

By applying for or operating as a Group S Certified Host, you acknowledge:

  • You have read and understand this agreement

  • You agree to comply with all terms

  • You understand hosting privileges are conditional and revocable
